Partnerships Coordinator

Remote · Contract

We are hiring a Partnerships Coordinator to own our vendor and API-partner conversations. You will run most of the calls with companies such as Equifax, TransUnion, debit and payments providers, and other API partners. You explain what we do, collect what they need from us, and move onboarding forward. The founder joins only when a decision or a signature is required.

What you will do

  • Run first calls, follow-ups, and most ongoing meetings with data, credit-bureau, debit, and API providers.
  • Explain our product and services in clear, professional English, without jargon or rambling.
  • Ask for pricing, volume tiers, technical requirements, onboarding documents, and timelines.
  • Draft outreach, agendas, and follow-up notes. After each call, send a short summary: what was said, what you need from the founder, and what you will do next.
  • Track every open vendor in a simple list so nothing stalls.
  • Prepare forms and agreements for the founder to review and sign, then send them back to the partner.
  • Chase redlines, missing documents, and next steps until the integration path is clear.

What you will not do

  • You do not agree to pricing, minimums, volume commitments, or contract terms on your own.
  • You do not sign anything. If a vendor asks for a commitment, you pause and bring it to the founder.

What we need

  • Clear spoken and written English. A bureau or payments vendor should be able to follow you easily.
  • You have already spoken with clients or vendors on calls, not only by email.
  • You can turn a short brief into a professional explanation of a product.
  • You follow through without being asked twice.
  • You know when to proceed and when to check before promising anything.
  • Comfortable working remotely and keeping a written record of every conversation.
  • A laptop and stable internet connection. This is a must.
  • You know how to use Outlook for email and calendar.
  • You can join video meetings with your camera on.

Nice to have

  • Experience with fintech, payments, credit bureaus, API vendors, or onboarding, or experience working with a new business.
  • Familiarity with Canadian vendors and business norms, or the ability to adapt quickly.

How we will hire

Send a short note on a vendor or client call you have handled, and what the result was. Strong candidates will do a paid mock call: we give you a one-paragraph product brief, and you request an API onboarding from a credit bureau or debit provider. We are hiring for clear English, a clean explanation, and the judgment to stop before committing us to terms.
